At the Knysna Elephant Park, we offer a variety of elephant encounters – all aimed at giving our visitors unique insight into one of earth’s most magnificent creatures. 

You may choose to meet our herd and get to feed an elephant and then spend some time in amongst our beautiful herd of African elephants, or you may want to walk alongside an elephant, following in the footsteps of Africa’s giants….whatever your choice is, our extraordinary elephant experiences will provide you with memories to last a lifetime.

Our experienced handlers and guides are seen as part of the herd and spend their day in the field with their elephant charges, always on hand to personally introduce the elephants and provide more information about them and the Park.

Weddings and Functions

The Knysna Elephant Park also offers a unique and affordable venue for weddings, conferences and other events. The chapel and adjoining reception venue, the Lapa, are both beautifully situated at the edge of pristine indigenous forest and overlook the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountain ranges, providing the perfect backdrop for your occasion.
